Teacher Recipe: AR Goal Tracker Hack

Need a way to motivate your students with AR? I love using this clip chart in my classroom! Check out the “recipe” below:

• 1- Accelerated Reader Program in your school
• AR trimester/quarter point goals (from each student)
• 1- AR Goal Chart (which you can create or find one I created here!)
• A handful of love and encouragement

Accelerated Reader has a section called “Record Books & Goals”, where you can enter students’ point goals. As students progress, use a clip chart to see how close they are to their goals. This system allows readers of all levels to “win”!
